The
Global BC system consists of high opacity solid and metalic
basecoat colours which require a clearcoat. Global BC is designed
for the repair of vehicles originally finished in a basecoat/clearcoat
system. Used in conjunction with a recommended Global repair
system, Global BC meets or exceeds the performance requirements
of motor manufacturer paint system warranties. Global BC carries
a large number of OEM approvals. The Global system offers the
European refinish technology for the shop that will take nothing
less than the best!
The
Global Refinish System DG is a high-performance two-pack acrylic
urethane topcoat designed for the direct gloss repair and respray
of cars and commercial vehicles. The performance of Global Refinish
System DG in a recommended Global repair system meets or exceeds
motor manufacturer warranty requirments and the Global Refinish
System carries many OEM approvals.
PPG
Finishes offers Deltron Basecoat/Clearcoat Systems, for domestic
and imported automobile finishes. This fast drying system is
formulated with state-of-the-art OEM technology and offers a
choice of five clearcoat systems. Now, the small shop, the high-production
shop, or the shop with a downdraft booth can take advantage
of basecoat/clearcoat repair by choosing the system best suited
for their needs. This basecoat is designed to match OEM finishes
in both color and appearance after a clearcoat has been applied.
MOst of these colors are applied in two to three medium coats
to reach hiding. Because they are designed to dry down to a
low gloss, do not overwet to achieve luster.
Delstar/Delthane
is perfect for panel jobs and overall refinish work. It resists
the elements and features a same day, no-buff resilient finish
when mixed with Delthane hardener. With the Delstar/Delthane
system you can achieve the same texture, color and depth of
gloss as original new car acrylic enamel finishes. It is available
in more than 8,000 intermix choices, including metallic. PPG
Finishes is a world leader in the production of OEM and aftermarket
finishes. In addition, PPG's leadership in glass, chemicals,
moulding resins and fiberglass allows us to note that over 70%
of all cars produced in the free world have PPG finishes on

Delta
DHS is an ultra high solids, single stage, 2.8 VOC polyurethane
finish designed to provide and extremely durable, high gloss
finish in fleet operations where 2.8 VOC regulations are in
effect and force curing is the preferred method. DHS builds
quickly and requires fewer coats to achieve full hiding. DHS
is particularly suited for larder units, where multiple coats
are not possible and fast air dry is not required. DHS is available
in a wide range of solid-only OEM and custom colors. DHS is
produced using high strength DMHS universal mixing toners.

import and domestic automobiles.

Omni AU is the
newest family of refinishing products from PPG. This new value
priced line can be mixed as either a 2-component acrylic urethane
- MTK, or an acrylic basecoat - MBC. Both systems are mixed
from the same 34 mixing bases and 6 powdered pearls which
saves you money in terms of product inventory. The Omni AU
system is a complete system with it's own primers, primer
surfacers, sealers and clearcoats. But don't worry about being
confused with a variety of products...the total number of
support products has been kept to a minimum and many of the
hardeners and reducers are used throughout the whole product
line. So if you are a production shop looking for a great
glossy finish that is easy to apply, look no further than
